Rivenoak Championship Tourney

   September 19, 2009
Barony of Rivenoak (Butte Co., CA)

The Coronets of Rivenoak invite you to tournament to determine their champion.
There will be both a heavy armored and rapier champion, as well as a boffer tourney
to determine the Junior Champion. As we in Rivenoak are a little "different,"
the tourney will be run a little "different" (expect other than double elimination) .
As we in Rivenoak are also known as "gameplayers" , there will be several game
tournaments to choose from, or bring your own, and challenge us with your favorite.

We also invite you to join us for our mid-day meal in a potluck feast: please bring
your feast gear, your chair, and a dish to share.

Our plans include a "Silent Auction and White Elephant Sale" to help raise money
for thrones for the Principality of Cynagua, promoted by Baroness Lori.
Please bring all the things of use or interest to SCA-types like us that are just lying
around and cluttering up your closets and donate them to the auction. Come
and bid on all the kinds of interesting things you just got to have and support
a good cause. If you want to bring your stuff to donate to the Sept. Baronial meeting.
I can collect them then from you, or bring them in early to the Tourney that morning.
It'll be fun.
-- Lori
